RETURN POLICY
All sales are final, so please order carefully. If a return is approved by Splendid Flooring, merchandise (orders) purchased can be returned within 15 days of delivery and are subject to a 25% restocking charge. Note: Certain items are non-returnable, including: Adhesives, Underlayment’s, Trim/Molding Pieces and Custom Ordered items that are non-stocking items (made to order goods, special orders etc.), and any sale items that are labeled closeout, discontinued or obsolete are non-returnable.
There is a minimum of 5 cartons required for a return. Items that a customer seeks to return more than 15 days after purchase may not be returned for credit. Customer is solely responsible for the cost of shipping any returned product back to designated manufacturer center and only after receiving a return authorization number (RAN). Customer agrees to use only carriers capable of providing proof of delivery and insurance for the entire value of the shipment. Customer agrees to bear all shipping and insurance charges and all risk of loss for the return product during shipment.
Customer agrees that all returned products will be 100% complete, unused and in resalable condition in the original undamaged packaging material. If the product has been used, damaged or altered and cannot be resold as new, the return procedure will be breached and Splendid Flooring may in its sole and absolute discretion reject the entire return.
Shipping, insurance and handling charges are non-refundable, unless an error occurred on our part in shipping your order and absent a verifiable warranty condition. We treat our customers, vendors, and one another with fairness, respect and appreciation. If you change your mind before we have made commitments to our vendors, we have no issue with cancelling your order with no penalties. Please allow 7 – 10 business days after receipt of your returned or exchanged item for your charges to be reversed on your credit card. This gives us time to inspect the item returned, restock it and process the credit. You will receive a receipt via email from the merchant bank when the credit has been processed.
WARRANTY:
RECEIPT OF MATERIAL
When your order arrives, you want to be sure that the quantities match what you ordered. Please visually inspect the condition and entirety of the shipment making sure to note missing or damaged materials. The order confirmation email you received lists all the materials and quantities you ordered. You will need to examine the shipment and count each item to make sure everything ordered has been received. It is the sole responsibility of the receiving party to fully inspect the product at the time of delivery for any potential damage or shortages. We recommend removing any protective wrapping to fully inspect the product. Do not let the driver until you have verified the material you received is in good condition and that all the material you ordered is accounted for. Any damage and or missing items MUST be noted on the bill of lading and signed by delivery driver. FAILURE TO REPORT ANY CONCEALED DAMAGE WITHIN 24 HOURS OF DELIVERY REVOKES THE RIGHT TO ANY SHIPPING DAMAGE CLAIMS. PLEASE BE DILIGENT AND CHECK YOUR SHIPMENT FOR DAMAGE IMMEDIATELY. If the product is damaged in any way, please DO NOT refuse the delivery. Refusing a shipment will incur additional shipping charges that the customer will be responsible for paying. Refused shipments are subject to return shipping costs and a 25% restocking fee. It is best to receive the product and replacement product or refund will be shipped/credited to you (discretion of the carrier). Refusing product by the customer does not preclude the customer from a re-deliver, restock or return shipping costs. Splendid Flooring reserves the right to authorize a return of any freight that is found to be undeliverable where the customer, after repeated attempts, is found to be unavailable for contact. The customer will then be responsible for all shipping charges to and from the address of delivery plus a restocking fee for the shipment. These fees will be deducted from the original purchase price of the shipment prior to refund.
Unless specifically requested, all deliveries are curbside. This means that you (or someone able) must be home to take the material form the trailer to your home. Once unloaded it is recommended that you store the flooring in the location where it is to be installed. This will serve two purposes. 1.) It will allow the flooring material to acclimate. 2.) It will reduce the number of times you have to move the flooring. Boxes of flooring material can weigh as much as 65lbs. depending on the product.

Splendid flooring stands behind our products and we are committed to providing the absolute best customer experience to every customer. We ship flooring all over the country and as you can imagine many of the products we ship are fragile by nature and on occasion damages can take place during transit. If you receive any damaged product in your shipment please follow the policies below by calling or emailing us right away and we will work to resolve your issue. We have Flooring Specialist available and ready to assist you Monday-Friday 7:00 am to 4:00 pm PST. If your shipment was damaged follow the steps below.

- Provide Splendid Flooring with the required documentation.
